Chapter VI:
the Incredible Inedible Carbuncle
vs.
Unbuttered Toast

Here I am again, at My usual place in the writing of these dirty little papers: I have absolutely no idea as to what I shall write about...so I guess I shall speak of Chihuahuas, and I shall speak of why I love them so.

To tell the truth, though, I really do not know what the attraction to the little rat-beasts might be! I love them for being so annoying, yet I fiercely detest annoyance. I love them because they are so small and skittish. However, because they are so small and skittish, they have the tendency to be either stepped upon or scared into a shivering wet mess. They are frightfully ugly mongrels; consequently, it is their horrid features that make them so lovable and cute...

I suppose it just goes to show that when you win you still lose...and when you lose you still manage, in some twisted way, to win. But then I never claimed to be an expert on the subject, so do not bother to ask and expect a straight answer...
